About me
I am Aung Chan Thar, an esteemed Young ASEAN Storyteller and Travel and Conservation Photographer hailing from Myanmar. With a multitude of photography degrees, including AFIAP, BPSA, QPSA, LPSS, APSS, and BEPSS, I have been recognized with over 100 international photography awards, attesting to my exceptional skill and dedication.
Who am I?
Supported by the ASEAN Centre for Biodiversity (ACB), I successfully organized the Conservation Photography Workshop for Myanmar Youth, held in Hpa-an, Inle, and Indawgyi, while also curating a captivating Conservation Photo Exhibition showcased in Yangon. Moreover, I take immense pride in the publication of my Conservation Photography Book, a testament to my unwavering commitment to the cause.

Through various mediums, both online and offline, I have had the privilege of teaching and sharing my photography expertise with over 1000 young individuals and university students in Myanmar. My current focus revolves around utilizing the power of photography to preserve Myanmar's rare species and protect its precious environment. By embarking on extensive journeys throughout the country, I diligently document Myanmar's traditional culture and lifestyle, capturing their essence with artistic finesse.
